Hey, this upcoming Saturday (July 21) there's a video game tournament being held at Bookman's in Phoenix. They've also been kind enough to let us play there after the tournament's over!

This will probably be Warp Zone's last show (at least until we find a replacement for our keyboardist.) So if you haven't seen us before and you want to, now's your last chance! (Sort of!)

More detailed page can be found here at their website! Thanks!

I'll be out of town :(
But have a good show, guys.

So how did it go?

It was pretty good. This was definitely our last show though. The show started off hectic. First, we forgot our keyboardist's amp. Then the keyboard's flux capacitor wasn't giving it the juice to power on. Luckily, we found out it was actually the AC adapter and it had a kink in the cord which we fixed with a "Your Pregnancy" book that was on a nearby table. We used the second channel in my amp for the keyboard and it actually sounded better than the other amp..

We played 2 new songs Zelda and SMB1. (Those are links [or should be] to the recordings we made to practice to at our homes.) Both songs went off without a hitch, thankfully, even though we only practiced them twice together.

Damn, the links broke like I was afraid they would. :( I wish I knew a way to edit comments..

Just select the text and drag all the way to the right, past the orange border and copy/paste into your address bar. Make sure the text ends with .mp3. (IE delete the &quo or whatever)

I'm surprised with how well SMB1 came out. I really didn't expect the song to be very good. Also, neat fact in Zelda, when we play the dungeon music, me (guitar) and the keyboardist alternate 2 notes back and forth. It sounds like just one instrument to me, haha.
